A Brief Bit About Me, Jack
A Lifelong Passion for Music and Craftsmanship
From my earliest memories, music has always felt like home. Growing up surrounded by fellow music lovers, I was naturally drawn to the world of sound and rhythm. For nearly 55 years, I’ve played music—not as a virtuoso, but as someone deeply connected to the essence of it. I never aspired to perform on stage, but I always craved a community of passionate individuals who shared the same love for music.
This passion led me to open my first music shop in Florida during my early 20s. What began as a small venture grew steadily over 8 years, gaining a reputation for competitive pricing, outstanding service, and a loyal customer base. I became known for offering high-quality instrument repairs and personalized guitar lessons.
A decade later, my journey took me to Thailand, where I started an architecture firm with my wife. Over the course of 25 years, the business flourished, even though the COVID-19 pandemic ultimately brought it to an end. During that time, I earned the trust of a diverse clientele—musicians, collectors, and guitar enthusiasts—building a reputation for exceptional service. My commitment to quality earned me a perfect 5-star rating and countless positive reviews from clients, many of whom continue to reach out even after my return to the U.S.
Now, I’ve settled in upstate New York, where I’m ready to build the same strong community of customers and friends that I had in Florida and Thailand. Over the last 47 years, I’ve worked on guitars of all kinds—from rare, collectible instruments dating back to the 1800s, including prestigious brands like Martin, to entry-level guitars in need of care and attention.
